Downtown Greensboro Inc. (DGI) is thrilled to announce its partnership with Toys for Tots this holiday season to bring the joy of gift-giving to local children and families in need. Through this collaboration, DGI invites community members and visitors to participate in spreading holiday cheer by donating toys and other gifts to ensure every child experiences the magic of the season.
Starting November 10th, Downtown Greensboro will have several Toys for Tots collection points in multiple downtown businesses as well as a donation truck placed at our Festival of Lights event on December 6th and Holiday Parade on December 7th. These drop-off locations provide an easy way for Greensboro residents and visitors to contribute new, unwrapped toys for children of all ages. Donations will be accepted through December 9th to allow time for Toys for Tots to organize and distribute gifts to families before the holidays.
“Downtown Greensboro Inc. is honored to support the mission of Toys for Tots and help make the holidays brighter for children in our community,” said Zack Matheny, President and CEO of Downtown Greensboro Inc. “We encourage everyone to participate, and together we can make a meaningful difference in the lives of many families this holiday season.”
DGI and Toys for Tots aim to make this partnership an annual tradition, continuing to spread joy and goodwill across the community. For more information ondowntown in December, event details, and how to get involved, please visit the Downtown Greensboro website at www.downtowngreensboro.org.
