Chow Downtown Returns to Greensboro January 25–31, Downtown’s Restaurant Week

Greensboro, N.C. (January 8, 2026)  — Downtown Greensboro, Inc. (DGI) invites the community to pull up a chair and dig in as Chow Downtown returns January 25–31, bringing a weeklong celebration of locally owned restaurants, cafés, breweries, and dessert spots to the heart of the city.

Chow Downtown is a restaurant week, where local restaurants come together to offer special menus, featured dishes, and limited-time offerings to encourage residents and visitors to explore downtown dining while supporting local businesses during a traditionally slower season. This event showcases downtown dining at every level, whether that means grabbing coffee or a dessert, enjoying a casual meal, meeting friends for drinks, or sitting down for a full dining experience. These special offerings will only be available during this week.

This year’s lineup reflects the depth and diversity of Downtown Greensboro’s culinary scene, featuring longtime favorites alongside creative newcomers that make downtown a destination for food lovers.

“Chow Downtown is about more than just dining out,” said Angela Slabaugh, Director of Civic Engagement for DGI, “It’s about showing up for the small businesses that shape our downtown, supporting local entrepreneurs, and experiencing the creativity and hospitality that make Greensboro special.”
