Boro Bucks Launches to Support Local Businesses in Downtown Greensboro

Greensboro, N.C. — Downtown Greensboro Inc. (DGI) is proud to announce the launch of Boro Bucks, a new digital community gift card program designed to drive spending at locally owned businesses across Downtown Greensboro.
Boro Bucks is a single gift card that can be redeemed at 50 participating local businesses, making it the perfect gift for anyone who loves supporting their community. Cards can be purchased online and delivered instantly via email or text, or sent as a physical card.
"We created Boro Bucks to make it easy for residents and visitors to shop local," said Rob Overman, Interim Executive Director of DGI. "Every dollar spent with Boro Bucks goes directly to the small businesses that make Downtown Greensboro special."
Participating businesses span a wide range of categories including restaurants, retail shops, salons, live music venues, fitness studios, and more. There is no cost for merchants to participate, and funds settle to their accounts on the same business day. Cards are available in any amount from $5 to $500 and never expire.
