Downtown Greensboro Inc. Announces Expanded TowneBank Summer Concert Series
Five shows beginning April 30 include a mix of beach music, pop, rock and more
Greensboro, N.C. – Today, Downtown Greensboro Inc. announced that the TowneBank Summer Concert Series at First National Bank Field will return bigger and stronger this year with a series that expands beyond beach music, to include a fresh mix of pop, rock, and more.
“We are excited to build on the tradition of The Beach Music Series with our Summer Concert Series opening the door to more genres, more artists and more summer nights downtown,” said Rob Overman, Interim Director of Downtown Greensboro Inc. “This year’s genre-spanning lineup of bands offers something for everyone to enjoy. Gather your friends and family and join us for what has become downtown Greensboro’s favorite summer tradition for all ages.”
The series will feature five weeks of live music this spring and summer, including:
April 30 | Chairmen of the Board
May 14 | Camel City Yacht Club
June 4 | The Shakedown
June 18 | Sleeping Booty
June 25 | The Finns
The five concerts, sponsored by TowneBank and presented by Berico and T-Mobile/Fiber, will be held at the First National Bank Field, home of the Greensboro Grasshoppers, in downtown Greensboro once again this year. Doors open at 5:30 pm and the concerts begin at 6:00 pm.
Tickets for the Summer Concert Series are on sale now, with a bundle special available for the five-week package. General admission tickets will be $15 per concert or $50 for the five-week package and may be purchased in advance online at https://www.downtowngreensboro.org/events/summer-concert-series.
