Downtown Greensboro invites residents and visitors to explore the city’s dining scene as Chow Downtown returns January 25–31. This weeklong event brings together locally owned restaurants, cafés, breweries, and dessert spots for Downtown Greensboro’s annual restaurant week.

What Is Chow Downtown?

Chow Downtown is a restaurant week, which means participating downtown restaurants offer special menus, featured dishes, or limited-time offerings available only during this one week. Restaurant weeks are designed to encourage people to dine out, try new places, and support local businesses — all while enjoying something a little special.

Instead of visiting just one restaurant, guests are encouraged to explore multiple spots throughout the week. Whether you’re stopping in for coffee, meeting friends for drinks, grabbing dessert, or sitting down for a full meal, Chow Downtown highlights the variety of dining options available downtown.

The event also supports local restaurants during a traditionally slower season, helping drive foot traffic, support jobs, and strengthen Downtown Greensboro’s small business community.
