Join the Greensboro History Museum for an evening with Pulitzer Prize-winning historian Kathleen DuVal, discussing “The American Revolution and the Survival of Native Nations.”

Kathleen DuVal is Carl W. Ernst Distinguished Professor of History at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Her book Native Nations: A Millennium in North America won the 2025 Pulitzer Prize in History. Her other books include Independence Lost: Lives on the Edge of the American Revolution and the U.S. history textbook Give Me Liberty! She has also has written for The Atlantic, Time magazine, the New York Times, and the Wall Street Journal, and she appeared in the recent Ken Burns documentary The American Revolution.
