A Guide to Downtown Greensboro's Black-Owned Businesses
Happy Black History Month!
Black history is an essential part of downtown Greensboro’s story. It lives in the people, the places, and the businesses that continue to shape our community today. During Black History Month, we are honored to recognize and celebrate the Black-owned businesses that contribute so much to the character, creativity, and vitality of downtown.
Black-owned businesses are more than storefronts. They are places of connection, culture, and care. They reflect generations of resilience, entrepreneurship, and vision, while also helping to build a more inclusive and thriving local economy.
To help amplify these businesses, we have created a guide to Black-owned businesses in downtown Greensboro. This guide is an invitation to support, discover, and engage with the people and places that make our downtown what it is. Every purchase, recommendation, and moment of support helps strengthen the community we share.
This Black History Month, we invite you to explore the guide, support Black-owned businesses downtown, and honor the impact they continue to have on Greensboro, not just this month, but all year long.
If there is a business missing or a listing needs to be updated, please email katie@downtowngreensboro.org.
