Come to Forge Greensboro Makerspace for a fun evening decorating pottery in our make, bake, and take workshop! Bring your own snacks and drinks (BYOB) and come have a great time. Meet new friends, socialize while learning the Japanese form of pottery called Raku! This class is open to all: couples, singles, and people who are ready for a fun night out!
In this 3-hour class, you will learn how to glaze pottery, the history and technique of the Raku process with ceramics shop lead and instructor Ike Santiago. Students will be glazing two bisque pieces each that have been prepared in advance by the instructor. Students' pieces will be fired that same evening and ready for them to take home at the end of the class! All materials for the class are provided.
