After being homeschooled in Africa, Cady Heron enters high school for the first time and quickly discovers the complicated social hierarchy of teenage life. She becomes entangled with the school’s most popular clique—known as “The Plastics”—while secretly plotting to bring them down. But as she gets pulled deeper into the drama, Cady begins to lose sight of who she really is. This sharp and endlessly quotable comedy has become one of the most beloved teen films of the 2000s.
