Echoes Across Latitudes: Geographies of Grief & Joy features multi-media artists Amanda Shea, Malaika Ogukwe, Ashley E Lazarre and Marian Taylor Brown, who invite the many textures of grief and joy to emerge as they navigate their respective journeys and tell their unique yet inextricably interconnected stories. Embodying and practicing with community, artists will activate the Greensboro Project Space galleries, creating public work daily for the week-long in-process exhibition. This honors the iterative, and at times circular, nature of grief, inviting the artists to embodiment as they create with one another and the wider UNCG community.
