COMING OUT GRAY
Greensboro, NC — A quiet transformation is about to unfurl in the city’s creative core. Acclaimed abstract artist and narrative alchemist
Amy Gordon invites the public into Coming Out Gray, a premiere multi‑media experience that explores the liminal spaces between mono-chromatic hues, point of views, self and shadow.
This debut presentation will take place within The PYRLE, Greensboro’s newly revived 3rd floor cultural haven at 232 S. Elm St. With its warm glow and architectural openness, The PYRLE becomes the ideal vessel for a show that refuses to choose between mediums, instead allowing paint, prose, and immersive atmosphere to dissolve into one another.
Doors open at 6:00 p.m., with the cinematic-spoken word performance beginning promptly at 7:00, guiding guests into a world where gray is not absence, but possibility.
The evening will also feature large‑scale original artworks, one‑of‑a‑kind sculptural pieces, and a curated selection of limited‑edition books and art cards available for purchase —each extending the exhibition
as a meditation of GRAY-CE
The evening is free and open to all, an offering of art without barrier. Guests are warmly encouraged to contribute to ongoing ALS research and clinical trials, allowing the event to echo outward with purpose and passion.
Location: The Pearl 232 S. Elm St. Greensboro, NC 27401
