Downtown Greensboro, Inc.’s (DGI) annual State of Downtown meeting will be held on June 6. The drop-in event will be held 8:30 to 10:00 A.M. at the Hyatt Place on Eugene Street in Downtown Greensboro.

“We are excited to share all that’s happening within the Center City,” says Zack Matheny, President and CEO of DGI. “The past year has seen accelerated growth and development as well as a return to pre-pandemic visitations. From large-scale developments and enhanced programming to a trolley system and autonomous vehicles, there’s a lot to be proud of in our downtown.”

The format for this year’s meeting is different from the past, as attendees will be asked to interact with DGI staff to hear directly from them about the projects and vision for downtown.

“This has always been a group effort and I want our downtown community to be fully engaged with every member of our team; to build relations that will further our collective goal,” Matheny stated.

Attendees can drop-in anytime between 8:30-10:00 AM on June 6 to learn more about what's to come in Downtown Greensboro. Topics will include:

  • Developments
  • Special Projects
  • Programming
  • Budgeting
  • Data Analysis/Tourism
  • and more!

A light breakfast will be available. There is no cost to attend the event. For more information visit downtowngreensboro.org.
