About the Plan

Thrive35 is a bold, 10-year strategic vision designed to harness the strengths of downtown Greensboro while guiding thoughtful growth and investment. Led by Downtown Greensboro Inc., in collaboration with the City of Greensboro, local foundations, the Chamber of Commerce, and an 18-member steering committee, this initiative aims to shape a downtown that is vibrant, livable, sustainable—and built for everyone.

In the months ahead, we’ll invite the community to play an active role in shaping this vision. Through conversations, workshops, and public input, Thrive35 will reflect our shared aspirations and chart a clear path toward a thriving future for downtown Greensboro
