Project Partners
The Downtown Greensboro Thrive35 Strategic Vision Plan serves as a roadmap for strengthening downtown’s assets while shaping future growth and investment. Led by Downtown Greensboro Inc., the City of Greensboro, local philanthropic organizations, and consultant MIG, this initiative—guided by an 18-person steering committee—aims to create a livable, sustainable, and vibrant downtown. The planning process is structured and managed as follows:
Project Team
The project is led by a collaborative Project Management Team (PMT), which includes representatives from DGI, the City of Greensboro, the Community Foundation of Greater Greensboro, the Greensboro Chamber of Commerce, the Cemala Foundation, and the Bryan Foundation. The PMT meets regularly to oversee progress, provide guidance, and drive the project's ongoing efforts forward.
Consultant Team
Consulting firm, MIG, a nationally known company based in Berkeley, California was hired to help develop the Strategic Vision Plan. MIG previously worked with the partnership to produce the 2030 Strategic Vision Plan. MIG improves, adapts, and creates organizations, environments, and tools for human development. They are a community of designers, planners, engineers, scientists, and storytellers who engage people in creative problem-solving and collective action.
