Renaissance Room at Carolina Theatre

310 South Greene Street, Greensboro, NC 27401
In 1988, the United Arts Council (now ArtsGreensboro) staged the Renaissance Capital Campaign, raising $5,000,000 to help expand Greensboro's Cultural Center on Davie Street, and to undertake the next phase of renovation at the Carolina. On January 4, 1991, the refurbished and updated Theatre reopened with a number of modern upgrades and additions, including a spacious second-floor banquet area, appropriately named the Renaissance Room. Today the Renaissance Room is used for parties and receptions, business gatherings, and even as an elegant backdrop for performers' special meet-and-greet moments with guests.
