Did you know that 1 in 7 women in NC live in poverty? AMiA Works is a nonprofit that provides job training to unemployed and underemployed women through job coaching and contracted employment services. AMiA Works primary focus is in the area of Economic Development. We believe that poverty of the mind is ultimately worst than poverty of the purse & we're seeking community partners to help us make a difference in the lives of others.
