Explore the Stories of Invisible Illness Through Art
Greensboro Cultural Center, Room 413

Join us for a creative workshop designed for individuals living with chronic and invisible illnesses, such as chronic lyme, fibromyalgia, long covid, chronic fatigue, autoimmune, POTS, EDS, among others. As part of a youth-led Eagle Scout service project, this expressive arts experience invites participants to explore and share their personal stories through the creation of life-size bodymaps—powerful visual representations of the emotional and physical impact of illness on the body.

Participants will also have the opportunity to share their experiences through short interviews. All artwork and narratives will have the opportunity to be featured in a public exhibition at the GreenHill Center for NC Art, helping to raise awareness and foster greater understanding of how invisible illnesses shape our lives.

This workshop is open to ages 13 through adult.
Please register in advance using the event link.
