Greensboro, N.C. – Cone Health is partnering with Downtown Greensboro, Inc. to provide a free community health screening event on Saturday, March 9, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the J. Douglas Galyon Depot located at 234 East Washington Street.
“We want to thank Cone Health for their commitment to bring award-winning care to our downtown community through this important wellness event which will provide easier access to education, diagnosis and treatment for traditionally underserved residents,” said Zack Matheny, President & CEO of Downtown Greensboro, Inc. “We hope this is just the beginning of our partnerships to help make health care more accessible to the downtown community.”
Free blood pressure and blood sugar screenings will be offered at the event. There will also be team members on hand to provide patient education and health resources, including information about where to receive care in the community.
